The first Saturday of the month we hosted a one-day vacation Bible school. Several first timers attended, as well as the children from our church. We were able to meet and get to know several new families in the area. Anna and our assistant pastor’s wife, Cote, have been doing a great job with our children’s and nursery ministries. However, during the month of March, a young man named José, who is our minister of music, will become our new children’s pastor. We are very excited at how the Lord is working in his life as he prepares to be in the ministry full- time. I started out working in children’s ministries, as did all my friends from my home church who are now pastors and missionaries,.
In February we started weekly personal discipleship with three young men and one married couple. Also, Anna and Cote have started a weekly women’s Bible study on Sunday afternoons before the evening services. They had 16 women attend the first week! It is a blessing
to see our people hungry to learn more about the Bible and grow in their knowledge of the truth. We held our annual summer camp for teens and young adults. We had over 100 young people, all from our team of Chilean churches, attend the five-day camp. Love BC had 11 attendees. Many decisions were made for the Lord. During the week I got to talk with several who let me know they want to do more for the cause of Christ. A few from Love are also wanting to attend the Chile Training Center to prepare for ministry in the near future. We are thankful for how God is working in the lives of young people.
The second English course I had been teaching came to an end. On the last Sunday of February we held a graduation service for the participants. We had several first timers, all of whom received another clear presentation of the Gospel. We continue to follow up with them.

Future Property Purchase for Love Baptist Church

We are very thankful for another gift that was given towards a future purchase of a property here in Santiago, Chile. We’re praying and asking God to supply a property by the end of this year for a permanent location for the church.
