The Great Need!!!

“But you need to be the one to decide to carry the Gospel to them, so they can live.”

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” I Cor 4:4

El Salvador, a country with 6.5 million people. According to recent statistics, 43% of its people claim Roman Catholicism. About 12 % admit to be atheists, 3% claim Islam and other religions, and the remaining percentage claim to be several forms of Christianity.1 At its heart, the Salvadoran people believe in God. But the majority are nominal in their beliefs and practices.

El Salvador is made up of so many people who believe in a works based salvation. They honestly believe that they love God and that they’re giving their lives to him. But we know that they are dead in their trespasses and sins. We know that is it completely impossible for them to truly love God, for them to honestly live for him because they are spiritual dead. The god of this world has blinded their minds and deceived them into thinking that their works, their good deeds, their sufferings, and their sacrifice is honestly enough to get them to heaven! But we know that it isn’t ever enough. Satan May have hid the Gospel and blinded them through their religion, but we know that the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ can shine unto them and cause them to understand that there is a Savior who died for them, and rose again from the dead, and that Christ is the only way to the Father.

We know that… we believe that… But you need to be the one to decide to carry the Gospel to them, so they can live.
