Violence in Colombia

In Colombia, the recent death of Javier Ordonez led to violent protests and clashes between civilians and law enforcement over police brutality. Thirteen people died, nearly 300 civilians and police were injured, and over fifty police kiosks and stations were burned. There are calls for reform, but no one seems to have a clear answer, and neither side is willing to back down. Many Colombians live under the bondage of sin, and so they react as only sinful men could, out of hatred, out of fear, out of vengeance. The only answer to this pandemic of violence and blame is Jesus Christ. Only He can free us from sin, transform us into new creatures in Him, and cause us to live peaceably with all men. Will you prayerfully consider going to Colombia to declare the Gospel truth to those who have never heard?
