This week, Chile becomes the first country in Latin America to offer a 4th dose of the COVID vaccine. The country has one of the highest vaccination rates in the world, with 85% fully vaccinated. Over half the country has also received the 3rd booster shot.

The Omicron variant was first detected in Chile in December 2021 from those returning from outside the country. Currently about 700 cases of the variant exist in the country. As cases increase all over the world and in Chile, we are praying that past restrictions won’t be reimposed, and churches can continue to meet.
